The village of Wye is extremely well connected and benefits from rail services to Ashford International, Canterbury and London St Pancras International (in about 46 minutes). The 620 bus from Waltham takes one to nearby Cathedral city of Canterbury has a bustling city centre which offers an array of High Street brands, independent retailers, fine pubs, restaurants and eateries. Canterbury also offers an excellent selection of both state and independent schools, along with three universities, two mainline stations and two hospitals. The city is served by a regular rail service to London Victoria, Charing Cross and Cannon Street and the high speed rail link connects with London's St Pancras from Canterbury West in just under one hour.

Ashford offers a further range of facilities with its good shopping centre, choice of schools, recreational facilities and McArthur Glen Retail Outlet. Ashford International Station operates the Javelin High Speed trains to London, with a journey time of just 38 minutes.
